Disclosure Scotland procedures: Stagestars Scotland is a registered body with 'Disclosure Scotland'. Every member of staff employed by us goes through the enhanced childcare checks by 'Disclosure Scotland' and you can be reassured that all our staff have passed 'Disclosure Scotland' checks.

Medical conditions and emergencies: We ask all parents and guardians to make us aware of your child's medical conditions or learning difficulties so that our staff are fully advised and able to cope with any eventuality. Our staff have basic first aid training and would be able to cope with basic first aid requirements.We ask all parents to provide us with a separate emergency contact number (other than the first line home contact number) of a relative or friend for use in case of serious injury or illness whilst in our care.

Discipline: To perform with Stagestars Scotland necessitates strict self discipline, team work and cooperation with the other members of the company.We educate children on how to behave in a performing arts environment. Good behaviour is paramount and it is expected of all our students, young and old. This disciplined and friendly ethos develops professionalism within our lessons and Shows, and teaches the students to respect their peers allowing them to work well as a team. Stagestars does not tollerate bullying or disruptive behaviour and we reserve the right to dismiss any student exhibiting any such behaviour. Thankfully this has never had to happen!
